1. Processing of Personal Data
1.1 Nature, Scope, and Purpose
We process personal data that is essential for the continuous, secure, and reliable provision of our services. This personal data can be classified into the following categories: personnel and contact data, browsing and device data, content data, metadata or ancillary data, usage data, location data, and sales, contract, and payment data.
The duration of the processing of personal data is determined by the achievement of the intended purpose or by applicable law. Superfluous personal data is either anonymized or deleted.
We specifically process information that individuals voluntarily and personally communicate to us when they contact us, whether by postal mail, email, contact form, social media, or telephone. This information may be stored, for example, in an address book or similar tools. If you provide us with personal data concerning third parties, you are responsible for ensuring the protection of their data and for maintaining its accuracy.
Personal data obtained from application files is only processed to the extent necessary to assess suitability for an employment relationship or for the subsequent execution of an employment contract.
The personal information required to carry out the application process arises from the requested or provided data, particularly in the context of a job offer. Applicants also have the opportunity to voluntarily provide additional information for their respective applications.
1.2 Processing of Personal Data by Third Parties, in Switzerland and Abroad
We may assign the processing of personal data to authorized third parties, process it in collaboration with third parties, or transfer it to third parties. These third parties include service providers whose services we use. We are committed to ensuring adequate data protection for these third parties.
These third parties are primarily located in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). However, they may also be located in other countries, provided that, according to the assessment of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), their data protection legislation offers adequate protection. In other cases, adequate data protection may be ensured through an appropriate contractual agreement, particularly by using standard contractual clauses, or through appropriate certification.
2. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, particularly during processing. Access to our website is secured through the encryption of data transport (SSL/TLS, notably with the HTTPS protocol), which is generally indicated by a padlock symbol in the address bar of most browsers.
3. Information About Cookies
We may use cookies on our website. Cookies, whether our own (first-party cookies) or those of third parties used by our services (third-party cookies), are data stored in your browser. Please note that they are not capable of executing programs or transmitting malware.
When you visit our website, cookies may be temporarily stored in your browser as “session cookies” or retained for a certain period as permanent cookies.
You can disable, delete entirely or partially, cookies at any time through your browser settings. We actively seek your explicit consent for the use of cookies when necessary.
A list of all cookies used, their duration, and description can be accessed at any time by clicking on the floating cookie icon at the bottom left of your screen. You can also adjust your consent preferences through this window.
4. Performance Measurement and Reach
We use Google Analytics to analyze the usage of our website and assess the reach of our site, as well as the performance of third-party links pointing to our site. This service is provided by the American company Google LLC. However, for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, the responsibility lies with Google Ireland Limited.
Furthermore, Google attempts to individually track visitors to our website, even when they use different browsers or devices. This is known as cross-device tracking, and cookies are used for this purpose. It is important to note that the use of Google Analytics requires the users’ IP address (Internet Protocol), although this is generally not combined with other data by Google.
In any case, Google anonymizes your IP address (Internet Protocol) before analysis takes place. Thus, in general, your full IP address is not transmitted to Google in the United States.
If you wish to obtain further information about the nature, scope, and purposes of data processing, you can consult the:
